This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Call & Translate uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use browser local storage and session storage for the same kinds of job. In this policy “cookies” includes those similar technologies.
UK PECR and GDPR require consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary to provide a service you requested. We ask before setting optional cookies. Rejecting optional cookies does not block the site.
2. How we ask
On your first visit a banner lets you accept all, reject optional, or customise categories. Accept and reject are both available; optional categories are off until you switch them on. We store your choice, the time, and the policy version for up to 12 months.
Change or withdraw that choice at any time with . If we add a new optional category we will ask again.
3. Categories
- Strictly necessary — required to run the site, keep you signed in, and remember this choice. These do not need consent.
- Functional — remember theme and display preferences. Off until you opt in.
- Analytics — not used today. Off unless you opt in; we will prompt again if we add them.
- Marketing — not used today. Off unless you opt in.
